Audemars Piguet “25654BA MOP” Royal Oak Perpetual Calendar

Up for grabs is an exceedingly rare Audemars Piguet Royal Oak perpetual calendar, produced in 1995, housed in 18kt yellow gold, reference 25654BA.  The 25654 was the successor to Audemars Piguet’s first reference Royal Oak perpetual, the reference 25554.  Of the 800 pieces produced under the 25654 reference, only 430 were made in yellow gold.  However, what sets this particular Royal Oak perpetual apart from the pack, is the fact that it is fitted with an exceedingly rare and breathtaking “mother of pearl” dial, of which very few were produced.  Further, the condition of this Audemars Piguet Royal Oak perpetual calendar is excellent, with a sharp case, likely lightly detailed in the past, but retaining sharp and well-defined edges, and a perfect, crack-free dial.  The bracelet is likewise in great condition, with no stretch, and will fit an approximate 7″ wrist.  Please note: this watch was serviced by AP in Geneva in 2020, and is under warranty until December of 2022.
