Tudor "Big Bubble" Submariner

SOLD

Tudor “Big Bubble” Submariner

SOLD

Description

Up for grabs is a rare and hard-to-find blue-gloss dial Tudor Submariner, the reference 76100, circa 1984.  The 76100 is a “transitional” model, only produced for a short time in the mid-1980s, and in low quantities. The 76100 only existed with a date and is nearly identical to the reference 94110, differing only in the hands – the 76100 included a “big bubble” hours hand, giving the watch a unique look.

This Tudor Submariner is in good vintage condition.  The case has been previously polished, but still retains a thick and sturdy case.  The gloss dial is in great condition, with no major flaws visible.  The original tritium lume is present in both dial and hands, aged to a lovely yellow color.  The original blue bezel insert is in great condition, and has faded to a lighter blue color. The watch comes equipped on an original Rolex-Tudor folded-link 7836/382 bracelet, with 13 full links and almost no stretch.
