Longines "13ZN 3756" Chronograph

SOLD

Longines “13ZN 3756” Chronograph

SOLD

Description

Up for grabs is a stunning and very rare Longines chronograph, circa 1937, housed in an extremely uncommon 37mm steel case and powered by the famous 13ZN movement.  According to the Longines Extract from the Archives, this particular 13ZN was given the reference of 3756, and was sold to Italy in 1937.

The condition of this Longines chronograph is excellent.  The fixed-bars case is sharp and remains thick and even.  The dial is similarly well-preserved (compared to other 13ZNs; most did not hold up well over time), with no major damage and a normal light patina throughout, giving the two-tone dial a stunning look, with the center of the dial aging to a rosy/champagne color.
