Audemars Piguet “Piece Unique 14708AC” Royal Oak

Offered here is a very special and one-of-one piece unique Audemars Piguet Royal Oak, given the reference 14708AC. This special Royal Oak, made under their “Haute Joaillerie” division, was made in 1992 and delivered to Japan. According to the Audemars Piguet Chronicles website, “[t]he gemsetting is composed of brilliant-cut and baguette-cut diamonds. It represents a total of 517 stones totalling approximately 12.02 carats. [The dial was] made by Geneva dial-maker Stern, [made] in 18-carat gold set with diamonds and adorned with 10 sapphires.” This special Royal Oak remains complete with its original Audemars Piguet box, Warranty Certificate, and accessories. We can only imagine (and hope) that this was ordered by a Yazkuza boss for his wife/girlfriend. The watch itself remains practically unworn, with no damage throughout, and fully-linked.
