SOLD
Description
Offered here is a very early example of Rolex Daytona, Ref. 6239 (circa 1964; 1.1m serial), with a lovely “panda” dial (white with black registers). This particular example features an early dial variant with a “small” Daytona print.
This Daytona is in great vintage condition. The case has been previously polished, but retains thick and even lugs. The dial is in beautiful condition, with no major wear or damage. The original tritium lume is still present on both dial and hands, aged to a nice yellow color, with nice and full lume plots and no major loss to them, as is typically found on these early Daytonas.
The watch comes equipped on a Rolex Swiss 7205 stretch-rivet bracelet, dated to 1968, with 57 endlinks. The bracelet has 12 full links and very light stretch.
