Tissot "33.3 Sector" Chronograph

Tissot “33.3 Sector” Chronograph

SOLD

Description

Up for grabs is an incredibly rare and beautiful Tissot chronograph from the late 1930s, early 1940s.  Housed in a large, 37mm steel case, this watch was powered by the famous, Omega-designed Caliber 33.3.  Only one other Tissot chronograph with this dial configuration (black with silver, sector-dial print) is known, in the hands of a prestigious collector in the East.  The condition of this Tissot chronograph is excellent, considering its age.  The case remains unpolished, with normal wear.  The dial is devoid of any major flaws, and remains very well-preserved.  A true rarity – finding another like it will be next to impossible!
