Description
Offered here is a beautiful example of a Reference 1675, Rolex “GMT-Master”, with a Mark 1.5 “Long E” dial, the first GMT-Master that Rolex produced with a “matte” dial. The serial of this GMT-Master is 16xxxxx, dating this watch to 1967. The case appears unpolished, with original beveled edges present, and normal wear. The dial is devoid of any chips, scratches, or flaws, and is in beautiful condition. The original tritium lume is still present on both dial and hands, aged to a light yellow color; the hands have been professionally color matched to the dial. The original “Pepsi” bezel insert has a light faded “blue jeans” color, and has vibrant colors. The watch comes equipped on an original Rolex USA C&I rivet bracelet, dated to 1972, with 10 full links and minimal stretch.
