Description
Up for grabs is a very rare bird – a 1950s Vacheron Constantin Calatrava-style watch, reference 4073, housed in platinum. While this reference has been known to the market (and even has a case designed by Antoine Gerlach, who also designed the Patek Philippe 96 and Patek Philippe 570 reference cases), almost none are found in platinum. This rare Vacheron Constantin remains in great vintage condition, with a seemingly unpolished case showing minimal wear, and a lovely dial, show some light tool marks towards the edge of the dial between 3 and 4 o’clock, and some small marks in the register, overall very well-preserved.
