This Universal Geneve Compax is an extremely rare model from the Compax line, dating to the 1960s. Housed in a 40mm case and powered by a Valjoux 72 movement, a rarity for Universal Geneve, only 3 or 4 of these watches have ever come to market.
The condition on this oversized Universal Geneve Compax is excellent. The case does not show signs of overpolishing, and all beveled edges are present on the lugs. The dial is very beautiful, with no noticeable blemishing. The rotating bezel is in near-mint condition. The inner tachymetre scale is possibly a replacement, as other examples of this model known to the market are in blue.
This is truly a rare opportunity to own a Universal Geneve that only a handful of people in the world can lay claim to own.
