Offered here is an uncommon Hamilton “reverse panda” – Êblack dial with white registers – chronograph, housed in a stainless steel case. ÊThese watches draw favor from collectors for their similarities to the Heuer Carrera, often dubbed the “Poor Man’s Carrera”.
This particular Hamilton chronograph is in great vintage condition. ÊThe case does not show signs of polishing. ÊThe dial is in great condition, with no blemishes or marks; the registers show some wear/dirt, consistent with age. ÊThe lume on the dial and hands is still present, original, and matching to a light yellow patina color.
This watch also has a very interesting caseback engraving, showing that it was given as a gift by the Hamilton Watch Company themselves.
Further, this watch comes fitted on its original Hamilton-signed black leather strap and buckle, and comes with an inner and outer Hamilton-signed box (which were possibly added later).
