SOLD
Description
This is a very beautiful and uncommon example of a Rolex Day-Date in 18kt White Gold, Reference 1803, dating to 1972 (3.6m serial). It is fitted the popular “Buckley” dial, which features roman numeral markers; the so-called “Buckley” dial was named after a highly esteemed Rolex collector, and regarded as one of the leading experts in the field of vintage Rolex to this day. The case is in excellent condition, with thick and even lugs, lightly polished in the past. The dial is in great condition, with not a blemish visible. The tritium lume is present in both dial and hands, aged to a creamy yellow color, with puffy, full plots (and only partial loss on a few of the plots). The watch comes on a South American presidential hidden-clasp bracelet in white gold, with light stretch.
