Rolex "Tropical 1803" Day-Date

SOLD

Rolex “Tropical 1803” Day-Date

SOLD

Description

This is a very beautiful and uncommon example of a Rolex Day-Date in 18kt White Gold, Reference 1803, dating to 1971 (3.2m serial).  It is fitted with a unique silver non-lume dial that has naturally aged to an iridescent yellow/champagne color, otherwise called a “tropical” dial.  The case is in excellent condition, with thick and even lugs, lightly polished in the past.  The dial is in great condition, with not a blemish visible, and with an even and full color-change.  The watch comes on its original Roles Swiss hidden-clasp Oyster bracelet in white gold, with light stretch, and overall in very nice condition.
