Up for grabs is a very rare Rolex Day-Date, reference 18038 in 18kt yellow gold, circa 1977. This Day-Date in particular is very special, as it was fit with a rare “Tiger’s Eye” stone dial.
This rare Rolex Day-Date is in excellent vintage condition. The case remains razor sharp and unpolished. The dial is beautiful, with virtually no wear, save for one extremely minor hairline at the edge of the dial near 4 o’clock. The original Roles Swiss hidden-clasp presidential clasp shows zero stretch, and has 5 removable screws, fiting an approximate 7.2″ wrist.
