SOLD
Description
Up for grabs is a lovely example of the popular “Root Beer” Rolex GMT-Master, in two-tone steel and yellow gold, circa 1970. This example features the so-called “matte” dial variant, which features a rich maroon color.
This Rolex GMT-Master is in excellent vintage condition. The case is unpolished with sharp, original beveled edges. The dial is gorgeous, with no wear/damage whatsoever. The original tritium lume is present on both dial and hands, aged to a nice yellow color on the dial, and a shade lighter on the hands. The watch comes fitted on a Rolex Jubilee 62523H bracelet with 450/50 endpieces/endlinks, and has light stretch; the bracelet does not seem to be missing links, and will fit a large wrist.
