Description
Up for grabs is a lovely example of the popular “Root Beer” Rolex GMT-Master, in two-tone steel and gold, circa 1984. This example features the so-called “nipple” and “tiger’s eye” dial, due to the smaller hour markers and the dial’s sunburst color, similar to that of the gemstone by the same name (tiger eye). This Rolex GMT-Master is in great condition. The case has been lightly polished in the past, with thick and even lugs. The dial is gorgeous, with no wear/damage. The original tritium lume is present on both dial and hands, aged to a cream color. The watch comes fitted on its original Jubilee bracelet, with light stretch. Further, the watch comes with its original Rolex Official Chronometer Certification Guarantee paper.
