SOLD
Description
Up for grabs is a lovely example of a Reference 1675, Rolex “GMT-Master”, with a rare MK2 (Mark 2) dial, only used for a short period of time in the early 1970s. The serial of this GMT-Master is 31xxxxx, dating this watch to 1971.
The watch itself is in great vintage condition. The case appears lightly polished, with thick and even lugs. The dial is devoid of any chips, scratches, or flaws, and is in excellent condition. The original tritium lume is still present on the dial aged to a nice creamy yellow color; the hands have been professionally color-matched to the dial. Finally, original “redback” Pepsi bezel insert is in excellent condition, with no wear, and a beautiful, light fade.
The watch comes fitted on a Rolex Oyster 78360/280 bracelet, with 12 full links, and light stretch.
