Offered here is an excellent example of a Rolex Submariner, featuring the date window at 3 o’clock, the Reference 1680. This Submariner is a first execution (MK1) “white” 1680, and has a serial of 39xxxxx, dating it to 1974. This Rolex Submariner is in great vintage condition. The case appears lightly polished in the past (or simply just worn), but shows thick and even lugs. The dial is perfect, devoid of any chips, tool marks, or scratches. The tritium lume is original and present in both dial and hands, aged to a creamy yellow color.
The watch comes fitted on a Rolex 93150/580 flip-lock Oyster bracelet, dated to the 1st quarter of 1976, and ha 10 links in total, with almost minimal stretch. Additional links included upon request.
