Offered here is a beautiful example of a Reference 1675, Rolex “GMT-Master”, with a Mark 1 “Long E” dial, the first GMT-Master that Rolex produced with a “matte” dial. The serial of this GMT-Master is 28xxxxx, dating this watch to 1972, right at the end of production for the “MK1” dial.
This Rolex GMT-Master is in great vintage condition. The case has been previously polished lightly, but with thick and even lugs, and original beveled edges still visible. The dial is devoid of any chips, scratches, or flaws, and is in beautiful condition. The original tritium lume is still present on both dial and hands, aged to a beautiful yellow color. The original “Pepsi” redback bezel insert has a light faded “blue jeans” color, and has vibrant colors. The watch comes equipped on its original Rolex folded-link 7836 bracelet, with 358 endlinks and dated to 1972; the bracelet has 11 full-links and minimal stretch.
