Rolex “Pre-Comex 5513” Submariner

Up for grabs is a stunning example of a Rolex Submariner, Reference 5513, circa 1977 (5.1m serial).  This example features a very desirable Pre-Comex “Maxi” dial, denoting the larger size of the lume plots, as compared to the Submariner’s predecessors.

This Rolex Submariner is in nice vintage condition.  The case has been lightly polished in the past, retaining thick and even lugs.  The dial is immaculate, with no chips, scratches, or major flaws. The original tritium lume is present on both dial and hands, aged to a lovely yellow color.  The MK3 bezel insert is period correct to this reference, and is in good condition, with no major wear.

The watch comes equipped with a flip-lock 93150 bracelet with 580 endlinks, and is in good condition with 11 full links with no stretch.
