Rolex “LNOS Full-Set 1603” Datejust

SOLD

Description

Up for grabs is a stunning example of a Rolex Datejust, Ref. 1603, circa 1970. This Datejust features a fluted bezel, and a rare black dial. Further, it comes complete with its original Rolex box and “punched” papers, showing the original point of sale by Serpico Y Laino in Venezuela in 1973.

The condition of this Rolex Datejust is excellent. The case is unpolished and retains its original caseback sticker.  The dial is beautiful, with no wear; likewise the original tritium lume is present on both dial and hands, with no loss, and aged to a lovely yellow color. The watch comes fitted on a Rolex Swiss folded-link 7836 bracelet with 280 endlinks, and has 12 full links with no stretch.
