Description
Only produced for a very short time in 1989, the Rolex Submariner, Ref. 168000 is considered a transitional model, built after its predecessor the Rolex Submariner, Ref. 16800. This example is well-preserved, and is a very complete, full-set, and includes the original inner and outer boxes, “punched” warranty certificate, various booklets, green pouch with serial number, two Rolex Service Center cards (from 1993 and 2009), and its original hangtag, anchor, and bracelet extra link.
This Rolex Submariner is in good vintage condition. The case has been previously polished by Rolex. The dial is flawless and glossy, and the original tritium lume is present in both dial and hands, aged to a pale yellow; the constant seconds hands appears to have been replaced during service.
The watch comes on its original 93150/593 flip-lock bracelet, with 12 full links, and light stretch/wear.
