Up for grabs is a stunning and very rare Rolex Day-Date, reference 18388, circa 1991, with an extremely uncommon factory “pyramid” Onyx dial set with “pinball”-setting diamond markers, fit together with diamond-set in the lugs. These factory diamond and bejeweled watches were considered Rolex’s top of the line and ornate offerings, and remain to this day, usually reserved for top clients and not easily ordered by the general public. This particular example comes complete with its original Rolex Presidential box, “punched” Warranty Certificate, and serialized hangtag. The watch itself remains in fantastic condition, clearly very carefully worn, and remains on its original Rolex Presidential hidden-clasp bracelet, and has 4 removable links, fitting an approximate 7.1-7.2″ wrist.
