Only produced for a very short time in 1989, the Rolex Submariner, Ref. 168000 is considered a transitional model, built after its predecessor the Rolex Submariner, Ref. 16800. This example is well-preserved, and comes as a complete set, with its original inner and outer Rolex boxes, Guarantee Certificate, and booklets.
This Rolex Submariner is in good vintage condition. The case has been previously polished, but retains thick and even lugs. The dial is flawless and glossy, and the original tritium lume is present in both dial and hands. The bezel insert has light wear, aged to a lovely light blue-purplish hue.
