Rolex “Ferrite 18038” Day-Date

SOLD

Description

Up for grabs is an uncommon Rolex Day-Date, Ref. 18038, which was transitional from the Reference 1803, introducing the “single quick-set” function, which allows the owner to quickly just the date via the crown.  This example dates to 1986, and is fitted with a rare “Ferrite” stone dial, contrasted by applied golden Roman numerals.

The condition of this Rolex Day-Date is great.  The case has been polished in the past, retaining thick and even lugs, and appears sharp.  The ferrite stone dial is in perfect condition, with no cracks or marks.

The watch comes on its original hidden-clasp 18kt Rolex Swiss bracelet, with light stretch, and will fit an approximate 7-7.25″ wrist (four removable screws).
