Rolex “5513 Maxi MK4” Submariner

Description

Up for grabs is a beautiful example of a Rolex Submariner, Reference 5513, circa 1982.  This example features a 4th execution (MK4) “Maxi” dial, denoting the larger size of the lume plots, as compared to the Submariner’s predecessors.

This Rolex Submariner is in excellent vintage condition.  The case is unpolished, with sharp original bevels to the lugs, showing light wear from use over the years. The dial is in great condition, with no wear, chips or scratches. The original tritium lume is present on both dial and hands, aged to a lovely yellow color. The MK3 bezel insert is period correct to this reference, and is in good condition, with no major wear.  Finally, the watch is fitted on a Rolex Oyster 93150 bracelet, with 580 endlinks and has 10 full links with no stretch.
