Up for grabs is a very attractive example of a no-date Rolex Submariner, Ref. 5513, circa 1987 (R-serial), with a “gloss/white-gold surround” dial, which was the last dial variation of the Reference 5513 before being discontinued a few years later. This Rolex Submariner is in great vintage condition. The case appears lightly polished, with normal wear and thick and even lugs. The dial is in amazing condition, with no chips, scratches, or marks, and retaining all of its original factory gloss and mirror-like finish. The original tritium lume is still present on the dial, aged to a warm yellow color; the hands have been professionally color-matched to the dial. The bezel insert is correct for this period of Submariner, and has no wear. The watch comes on a Rolex flip-lock 93150/580 bracelet, with 11 full links, and very light stretch.
