Rolex “5513 Gloss” Submariner

Offered here is a very attractive example of a no-date Rolex Submariner, Ref. 5513, circa 1984, with a “gloss/white-gold surround” dial, which was the last dial variation of the Reference 5513 before being discontinued a few years later.    This Rolex Submariner is in excellent vintage condition.  The case is unpolished and sharp, with nice original beveled edges, worn naturally from use.  The dial is in extremely attractive, still retaining its factory gloss, and no “spidering” to the lacquer; the dial does have light bubbling to the surface, which is very difficult to see without a loupe and at the right angle. The original tritium lume is still present on the dial, aged to a nice yellow even color, remaining a few couple lighter in the hands. The bezel insert is correct for this period of Submariner, with virtually no wear. The watch comes on a flip-lock 93150/580 bracelet, with 10 full links, and negligible stretch.
