Offered here is a very attractive example of a no-date Rolex Submariner, Ref. 5513, circa 1985, with a “gloss/white-gold surround” dial, which was the last dial variation of the Reference 5513 before being discontinued a few years later. This Rolex Submariner is in excellent vintage condition. The case is unpolished and sharp, with crisp beveled edges. The dial is in extremely attractive, still retaining its factory gloss, and a light “spidering” to the lacquer. The original tritium lume is still present on the dial, aged to a nice yellow even color; the hands have been professionally color-matched to the dial. The bezel insert is correct for this period of Submariner, with virtually no wear. The watch comes on a flip-lock 93150/580 bracelet, with 10 full links, and negligible stretch.
