Description
Up for grabs is an incredible Rolex Day-Date, reference 18038, which was transitional from the Reference 1803, introducing the “single quick-set” function, which allows the owner to quickly just the date via the crown. This example dates to 1978, and is fitted with a rare Onyx-stone and “pinball” diamond set dial. The watch itself is in excellent vintage condition. The case is sharp and appears unpolished, with its original caseback sticker in tact. The dial is immaculate, with no flaws or cracks to the stone dial. Finally, the watch remains on its original Rolex Presidential hidden-clasp bracelet, with no stretch, and will fit an approximate 7.4″ wrist (5 removable screws).
