SOLD
Description
Up for grabs is a lovely example of the incredibly popular Rolex “Zenith” Daytona, so-called for its movement made by the brand, Zenith. Rolex introduced the automatic movement chronograph in 1987, using a movement manufactured by Zenith, as it was the industry’s only self-winding chronograph movement that met Rolex’s high quality standards. This particular example dates to 1993, and has a co-called “Patrizzi” dial, wherein the registers have begun to age from their stock silver color to a brown hue.
This Rolex Daytona is in great nice condition. The case has been polished in the past, but well done with nice thick and even lugs. The dial shows no marks or scratches, but has developed an even patina/matte texture across the dial, only visible under a loupe. The original tritium lume remains present on both dial and hands.
Finally, the watch comes on its original Rolex 78390 Oyster bracelet with 503B endlinks, and has 11 full links with light stretch.
