Description
Up for grabs is a stunning and early example of a Rolex Datejust, Ref. 1603, circa 1967. This Datejust features a fluted bezel, and a silver, sunburst dial with applied steel markers, oversized at the 6 and 9 o’clock marks, giving the dial and balanced and classy look. The condition of this Rolex Datejust is excellent. The case shows no signs of polishing, and is thick and even. The dial is mint, with no blemishes in sight. Further, the original tritium lume is present in both dial and hands, aged to a vibrant and beautiful yellow. The crystal has been changed by the prior owner to one without a date magnification window, and can be changed back upon request.
