Up for grabs is a stunning and exceptionally rare Patek Philippe Ellipse, reference 3938/1, produced in 1980. However, what sets this example apart from the rest is the fact that it was signed and sold by the retailer, Tiffany & Co. In our research, this is the only example that we can find of this reference that has been co-signed by Tiffany. The watch is accompanied by a Patek Philippe Extract of the Archives, confirming its production and subsequent sale in 1981.
The condition on this Patek Philippe Ellipse is excellent, with a very strong case, and near-mint blue sunburst dial. The bracelet will fit an approximate 7.25″ wrist.
