SOLD
Description
Up for grabs is a beautiful and super crisp Patek Philippe Calatrava, reference 570, circa 1964, housed in the less common variant 18kt white gold. The reference 570 is a very popular reference amongst collectors for its larger (than Patek standards) case size and long lugs, giving it a nice presence on the wrist. According to Patek, this watch was sold in March of 1964, although the Extract from the Archives (included in the sale) does not specify to whom it was sold/delivered.
The condition of this Patek Philippe Calatrava is excellent, one of the nicest we have seen. The case is unpolished and sharp, with normal wear, showing sharp edges and a clear hallmark on the back of the lugs. The dial is likewise mint, with zero flaws. Overall, this is an incredibly sharp watch, one of the nicest (condition-wise) 570s we have had the pleasure of offering.
