Omega made this “Calatrava”-style Suveran watch in many different references through the 1940s and 1950s, arguably one of their most popular and collectible time-only designs of all time. This example, featuring a radium-filled two-tone grey and black gilt dial, is stamped Reference 2400-5 and powered by Omega’s caliber 30T2, and is fitted in a steel, screwback case. This is one of the nicest examples we have ever seen of these style of Omega. The case is unpolished and sharp. The dial is in excellent condition, with only the lightest of patina. The original radium lume is vibrant and perfect, aged to a beautifully creamy yellow.
