Description
Up for grabs is a rare and lovely transitional Omega Seamaster 300, bearing the reference 165.014, which marked the transition from sword/broad arrow hands to the straight hands seen on this example.
This example is in excellent vintage condition. The case does not show signs of overpolishing, with the original bevels still visible. The dial is in excellent shape, with no flaws or noticeable wear that usually accompanies these watches. The original tritium lume is present on both dial and hands, aging to a golden yellow color. Further the original bakelite bezel insert, usually missing or cracked, is fully in-tact and in mint condition. The crystal shows some fogginess, but is the original, Omega-signed crystal.
