Description
Offered here is a great example of the popular 1960s Omega Seamaster 300, Ref. 165.024, featuring a “No Date” dial, sword hands, and a stunning bakelite rotating bezel. This example is in great vintage condition. The case is unpolished, with beautifully beveled, twisted lugs. The dial is excellent, devoid of any flaws, scratches, or marks; the original, Omega-signed crystal is in-tact, but shows various scratches (a generic crystal can be installed upon request). The original tritum lume is present in both dial and hands, aged to a golden yellow color; the hour hand shows some flaking/degradation in the lume, but is still present. The bakelite bezel was exceptionally well-preserved, with no cracks.
The watch comes fitted on a “No. 12” bracelet, stamped “6-71” inside the clasp. Please Note: one of the endlinks has been replaced.
