Omega “Gilt Radium” Watch

Description
Omega made this black gloss-gilt dial “Calatrava”-style watch in many different references through the 1940s and 1950s. This example, featuring radium-filled lume, is stamped Reference 2400-3 and powered by Omega’s caliber 266, and is fitted in a steel, screwback case. This is the nicest example we have ever seen of these style of Omega. The case is unpolished and sharp. The dial is in excellent condition, with only the lightest of patina. The original radium lume is vibrant and perfect, aged to a beautifully creamy yellow.
