Description
Up for grabs is a very rare early Movado chronograph, circa 1940s. This particular Movado chronograph is housed in an 18kt yellow gold case and fit with an extremely desirable and uncommon black, gilt dial. The condition of this early Movado chronograph is excellent. The case appears unpolished, showing normal wear from use, and strong and crisp hallmarks. The gilt dial still retains a nice glossy mirror finish, showing some wear around the markers due to radium burn. As such, the watch retains its original radium lume on both dial and hands.
