SOLD
Description
Offered here is a great example of the popular Mido “Multi-Centerchrono”, circa early 1940s. The Mido Multi-Centerchrono is a chronograph that utilizes two chronographs hand – one to function as a chronograph sweep hand, and the second to count down the minutes from the chronograph function – in lieu of a traditional minutes register. This particular example features the flat, step lugs steel case, and is outfitted with a luminescent silver, two-tone dial.
This example is in great condition. The case does not show signs of polishing. The dial is near perfect, showing light patina, with no damage to the dial. The original lume is still present in both hands and dial, and has aged to a warm, dark yellow patina color.
