MB&F Horological Machine HM7″AquaPod”

Description

Up for grabs is one of MB&F’s most unique creations, the Horological Machine N°7 “AquaPod,” in its rarest iteration — Platinum Red, limited to just 25 pieces worldwide. Inspired by the jellyfish, the AquaPod is built around a radially symmetric, concentric architecture with a 60-second flying tourbillon crowning the movement under a massive domed sapphire crystal. Powered by a solid titanium tentacle-like automatic winding rotor, with a red sapphire crystal unidirectional rotating bezel — the first time MB&F ever used the color red.

This Platinum Red edition also debuted three-dimensional floating titanium numerals on DLC-coated stems, replacing the transferred numerals of earlier AquaPods for an even more otherworldly look. AGT Ultra lume rings the tourbillon and fills the numerals and bezel markers, making the watch glow as brilliantly in the dark as the deep-sea creature it channels. Water-resistant to 50m, the 391-component in-house movement is paired with three interchangeable aircraft-grade rubber straps in red, black, and white. This example is in great used condition and comes with the original box, papers, and accessories.
