SOLD
Description
Offered here is a very rare monopusher chronograph, produced by Longines circa 1935. According to Longines’ archive, this watch was invoiced on January 17, 1935 to Ostersetzer, which was their agent at the time in Italy. It features an oversized, large fixed-bars steel case, a beautiful enamel dial, and powered by their Caliber 15 movement, an early iteration of the Valjoux 22.
This Longines chronograph is in great vintage condition. The steel case does not show signs of polishing, but does show very minor pitting on the sides of the case, consistent with the age of the watch. The enamel dial is in perfect condition, with no hairlines or cracks.
