Lemania "Two-Tone Gilt" Chronograph

SOLD

Lemania “Two-Tone Gilt” Chronograph

SOLD

Description

Up for grabs is an incredibly rare and downright gorgeous Lemania chronograph.  These watches were produced in the 1950s, and this example features a two-tone silver/black dial, with gilt inlay, and arabic numerals running along the edge of the dial, in place of the standard chapter ring.  This dial combination is extremely difficult to find, and highly sought after.  Housed in a screwback and pump-pushers case, this watch brings a lot to the table.

This Lemania chronograph is in great vintage condition.  The case has been lightly polished, with the original beveled edges of the lugs still present.  The dial shows light wear, consistent with its age, and is still very glossy.
