SOLD

Jaeger LeCoultre “Speed Beat” Memovox

SOLD

Description

Up for grabs is a rare Jaeger LeCoultre “Speed Beat” Memovox, Ref. E873, in mint condition, with its original strap and buckle.  This Reference was produced in the 1970s, with an estimated ~1000 pieces produced.  The E873 utilized JLC’s Cal. 916, which they introduced in 1969 with an increased beat rate of 28,800 and also featured a free-rotating rotor. With an egg-like appearance, this watch has a unique appearance on the wrist.

As stated above, this Memovox is in perfect condition; the case is untouched, and the dial is flawless – a true time capsule. The original lume is still present on both dial and hands, aged to a light yellow/green hue.
