Heuer “Gilt” Chronograph

Description
Up for grabs is an extremely rare Heuer Chronograph, a so-called “Pre-Carrera”, circa 1950s. This particular example is house in a fancy-lugs 18kt solid gold case, and is fitted with a black gloss-gilt dial, and applied markers, almost never seen. It is powered by a Valjoux 23 movement. To top it all off, this Heuer chronograph is in mint condition. The case is unpolished with little to no wear. The dial is extremely glossy, completely untouched. The original radium lume is present in both dial and hands, aged to a creamy yellow color.
