Description
Up for grabs is an excellent 1960s Heuer Carrera, with a very desirable black dial (Reference 3647N). The watch has a serial of 72xxx. The 3647 was the sister-Carrera to their Reference 2447; the 3647 contained only two registers, and was powered by a Valjoux 92, while the 2447 has three registers, and is powered by a Valjoux 72.
This Heuer Carrera is in great condition. The case does not show signs of overpolishing, if any at all, and has clearly defined edges. The dial is perfect, with no flaws. The original tritium lume is present on both dial and hands, in great condition, and aged to a golden yellow.
