Heuer “3147S Beyer Dato 45” Carrera

Offered here is a rare late 1960s Heuer Carrera chronograph, reference 3147S (S denoting silver dial), and co-signed and sold by the famous Swiss retailer, Beyer.  The 3147S, also referred to as the “Dato 45”, has a date window at 9 o’clock, but sharing the same case and design as their flagship Carrera, the reference 2447.  This particular Heuer Carrera is in excellent vintage condition, with an unpolished and sharp case, perfect sunburst dial, and lovely and original tritium lume on both dial and hands, aged to a nice yellow color.
