Description
This is an excellent example of the popular Heuer Autavia GMT, Ref. 2446, circa 1960s. The case is in excellent condition, with sharp and defined edges, and no wear/polishing. The dial is near perfect, with only light wear within the 3 and 6 o’clock registers. Likewise, the dial and hands still retain their original tritium lume, in perfect condition, and aged to a nice yellow color. The red/blue or “pepsi” bezel is beautiful, with minimal wear and a very light and attractive fade setting in. For more reading on these, head over to the one-and-only, On The Dash.
