Up for grabs is a rare Cyma chronograph, circa 1940s, housed in a large, 38mm “clamshell” case, patented by Gallet as the first waterproof chronograph case. This example is powered by the Valjoux 22 movement, and features an attractive white, two-tone dial, contrasted by gold hands and markers.
This Cyma is in excellent condition. The case is unpolished and still very sharp. The dial is in great condition, only showing minor wear consistent with the watch’s age and use. Caseback and movement signed Cyma.
