Description
Up for grabs is a true time-capsule of a watch. It is a 1950s Clebar triple-date moonphase chronograph, powered by a Venus 200 movement. The watch is in “New-Old-Stock” condition, clearly never used or worn, and with no service marks/evidence of any service to the movement in the past (although still fully operational). As it has never been serviced, a service is recommended, and can be done at the buyer’s request; however, since the watch is truly untouched, we decided to let the next owner make that decision. The watch comes complete with its original box and guarantee papers, and is fitted on its original strap, signed Zodiac, as Zodiac was a supplier/distributor of Clebar watches.
This watch is a true collector’s dream, and finding another in such amazingly well-preserved and complete condition may never again be possible!
