Cartier Santos Dumont “WSSA0046 Black Lacquer”

Description

The original Santos Dumont was created in collaboration by Louis Cartier and Alberto Santos-Dumont. Santos-Dumont complained about his inability to easily check the time while flying, and thus they designed a slim, light watch that would be suitable for him to comfortably wear while flying. Cartier is commemorating the original 1904 design with this “Black Lacquer” edition. The Black Lacquer features a stunning black square decoration dial with translucent lacquer, and that same black lacquer on the case itself.

The watch remains in excellent pre-owned condition, barely used, and remains with its Warranty card, and on its original Cartier strap and buckle (No Box).
